Isabel Anders is a German-Cuban pianist, composer, and improviser based in Berlin. Her intention with improvisation is to let ideas and inspiration from various sources and art forms merge in a nonelitist manner into a timeless form of expression.
She began her classical piano studies at the age of 6 at a Russian music school and later continued her training
with significant classical and contemporary concert pianists Prodromos Symeonidis and Vladimir Tropp. She further pursued studies in composition and contemporary music with Sascha Dragisevic and Stefan Streich. Anders was performing in Germany, Japan, Greece, the Netherlands, Poland…collaborating with groups and improvisers/ composers such as: London Improvisers Orchestra, Biliana Voutchkova, Edward Perraud, Taiko Saito, Damaś, Ignaz Schick, Marcello Busato…
She has performed concerts in Japan (Tokyo), Greece (Athens), the Netherlands (Rotterdam),

Alexander Frangenheim is a trained classical bass player and has worked as an improvisor since the late 1980- ies.
He was a key figure in the field of collaboration with dance for about a decade, working with such artists as Julyen Hamilton or Nigel Charnock. Frangenheim was member of
the ensemble Zeitkratzer and Günter Christmann’s „Vario-34“ including Mats Gustafsson, Paul Lovens and Thomas Lehn.
He has composed the music for the experimental film „EZB 2011-2012“, nominated for the
German Film Award 2015. Lately he catched up on his playing with Conny Bauer, played trio with Aki Takase and Steve Heather and was guest musician in King Übü Orchestrü.
He plays the groups TRAMES and Casa Manana, and collaborates with Benedict Taylor and Elio
Amberg amongst many others. In 2022/23/24 he was touring with NAIL (AF + Michel Doneda and Roger Turner). Recent releases: „Nail – Live in Ulrichsberg“, „Basic Tracks“ with trombonist
